Helping to promote tourism to Egypt is an extraordinary assignment. A week's familiarization trip in early
2006 took me and the nine other regional directors of the global assignment to Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Sharm
el-Sheik. I met a lot of fascinating people. I saw a lot of awe-inspiring sites. I took a lot of bad pictures. And three
not-so-bad ones.
